Man United interested in Wolves' Matheus Cunha

Man United reportedly hold a key interest in Wolves forward Matheus Cunha. As per 'The Athletic', the Red Devils have been scouting the Brazilian since the start of the season and hold him pretty high on their list of potential transfer targets. However, further reports signify that Matheus Cunha is valued at around 60 million pounds. That would be a decent chunk of money for United to spend on a player who just had about one and a half seasons under his belt in the Premier League so far.

Having said that, Cunha has proved to be quite a handy player for Wolves in the 2023-2024 season. In his 32 appearances for the Midlands-based side, the 25-year-old had an impressive tally of 12 goals and seven assists to his name. The Brazilian managed a sum of 22 goal contributions (14 goals and eight assists) across all competitions in the recently concluded campaign for Wolves.

However, reports did signify that Cunha has expressed that he's quite satisfied at the Old Gold and is looking forward towards helping the team in the times ahead. It remains to be seen if United's interest in the Brazilian forward materialises in a potential deal or not.

Chelsea and Arsenal suffer setback in their chase for RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko

Various reports in the English media have listed that both Arsenal and Chelsea were keen on RB Leipzig's striker Benjamin Sesko. The London-based clubs are being consistently linked with a move for the Slovenian player. With the Gunner's imminent struggle to find a reliable number nine in front of the goal, links with Sesko seem so relevant in time. Also, if they had a reliable striker at their disposal in their UCL run, maybe the results against Bayer Munich could have been different.

When one comes to Chelsea, despite Nikolas Jackson finding his goal-scoring rhythm in the latter half of the 2023-2024 Premier League campaign, Sesko would have taken their attacking fire-power to a very strong level. But, as per a report from 'Sky Sports', Benjamin Sesko is expected to sign a new contract with RB Leipzig, that will prolong his stay to at least one more season at the German club.

Now this of course comes across as a major blow for both Arsenal and Chelsea in their aims of acquiring the talented player. One other thing that's worth mentioning is that the English club Man United were reportedly also monitoring Sesko's situation and held an interest in the 21-year-old player.

Leeds United admire Fulham's Bobby De Cordova-Reid and Joao Palhinha on Bayern Munich's transfer radar

As per a report by 'CaughtoffSide', Leeds United are eying Fulham winger Bobby De Cordova-Reid for the upcoming summer transfer window. The Yorkshire-based club are looking to strengthen their squad to have another push towards a Premier League promotion in the 2024-2025 EFL Championship season.

De Cordova-Reid has a decent 2023-2024 top-flight campaign with the Cottagers. His contract with the club expires this summer and currently, there are no rumoured reports of him signing a new deal with the club is on the plate. So, it might not emerge as a massive surprise if Leeds manages to land him for free in the upcoming window.

Fulham's Portuguese midfielder Joao Palhinha is reportedly on the transfer shortlist of Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich. The player was linked with the German club in the closing stages of the last winter transfer window as well. As reported by 'Sky Sports', Bayern Munich first made a bid in the region of around 30 million pounds for the 28-year-old.

After not garnering much traction from the Premier League side, they returned with an improved bid of around 38 million pounds. However, as things stand, the Cottagers have also rejected Bayern's nuanced second bid for the Portuguese. Apparently, the London-based club values Joao Palhinha at a marquee figure of about 60 million pounds.
