The Approach: Sunrisers Hyderabad are playing a swash-buckling brand of cricket in the IPL 2024. Reaching a score of nearly 100, or scoring in proximity of 140 in just about 11-12 overs has become a common theme for them this campaign. Power hitters such as Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, and Heinrich Klaasen are showing their T-20 prowess. But the noticeable thing is that it's not all hit and smash, there's quality stroke play amidst the flourish as well. 

The Sustainability: While Hyderabad has blown the opposition away and won some games by noticeable margins, they have been on the receiving end of the results as well this season, losing out on a few opportunities to claim all two points, much attributed to their playing style. However, when one talks about sustainability, a 14-game league stage phase does allow you to play your brand of cricket, as long as you manage to win enough games and land yourselves in the playoffs. 

The Path Ahead: While the Sunrisers are still in with a decent shout to qualify for the playoffs by ending up as one of the top four teams in the points table when the league stage closes as things stand, however, they would need to make sure that they win at least one of their remaining two fixtures to get themselves to 16 points and avoid any late qualification drama. SRH currently stands at fourth position in the league table with 14 points to their tally in 12 games.
